Geneva, Switzerland — Dallas Airmotive and H+S Aviation, both BBA Aviation companies, announced today that Pratt & Whitney Canada has awarded the companies Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) appointments for the repair and overhaul of several turbo shaft helicopter engine models. This is especially true for the PW210 whose entry into service coincides with these appointments and will allow for quicker field responsiveness.”
The companies will build state-of-the-art facilities to support the new DOF appointments. North American rotorcraft support will be based at Dallas Airmotive’s recently announced facility at Dallas Fort-Worth Airport (DFW). The location of the Middle East facility will be finalized by later this year and will be developed and supported by the company’s Portsmouth, UK location. Billson said, “The establishment of a Middle East facility will be a welcome addition to our global service network.
