Yorkshire Air Ambulance receives first five-blade Airbus H145
Yorkshire Air Ambulance has today taken delivery of their first five-blade Airbus H145, registered G-YAAA, after a flight from Airbus Helicopter’s UK base at Oxford where it has been fitted out over the last six months.
The second one of the two ordered by the charity arrived in the UK by road on 12th February and has now started the completion process, with delivery to Yorkshire expected around 1st September.
The order for these two aircraft was announced in May 2021, and they are replacement aircraft for two earlier four-blade H145s which entered service in December 2016.
